Full hearing test and examination

Our team of experts is here to help you with any concerns you may have, with impartial hearing care advice to suit your individual needs. In your first hearing assessment, we will be discussing your medical history and hearing symptoms and then perform a full hearing test including video otoscopy and tympanometry. If necessary, we will also explain how a hearing device could improve your hearing, which can include a demonstration of the types of aids available.

Wax removal

Ear wax is perfectly natural, but can cause dulled hearing, itchiness, and discomfort when it builds-up. It can be caused by narrow or damaged ear canals, skin conditions, or can be hereditary, but whatever the cause or symptoms, we will support you and will take the time to remove it, usually by clinical micro-suction – the gentlest and safest way of removing troublesome ear wax.

After a successful career in senior roles with dental, optical and medical businesses, Tim embarked on a career change and obtained a degree as a hearing aid audiologist with ARU, Cambridge.
